Training Fees and Additional Expenses:

Training Fees:

Our standard instruction plan anticipates that you possess a current instrument flight rating and have accrued at least 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time in high-performance fixed-wing aircraft. Though not a stringent requirement, if a trainee is unable to finish the training within the scheduled time frame due to factors such as weather, aircraft maintenance, or personal/business commitments, additional charges like cancellation fees, standby charges, or supplementary training fees may apply. We can conduct training at any airport(s) of your preference worldwide. Upon receipt of your filled application form (one for each pilot), we can offer a custom proposal, including a price quote tailored to your most suitable training program.

- Initial Pilot Training (Piston) – Cessna 310, 340, 340A, 414, 414A, 421A, 421B, 421C, and Cirrus SR20, SR22, SR22T (up to 35 syllabus hours over 5 consecutive days)

- Recurrent Pilot Training (Piston) – (up to 28 syllabus hours over 4 consecutive days)

Our standard programs are designed for pilots satisfied with their current skill levels and who can adhere to minimum FAA standards for their respective ratings. We offer a program based on your experience level, pre-training assessment results, and insurance necessities. Typically, 8 duty hours (a single day) yield 4 to 5 logged flight training hours. Billing duty time commences at the agreed time and concludes at the end of the duty day, excluding meals and breaks. It covers activities like flight planning, weather briefings, pre-flight and post-flight inspections, classroom sessions, and on-the-spot briefings as required, up to eight hours per day. All our training programs are performance-based.

Additional Training:

For pilots new to the Cessna and Cirrus models, your insurance underwriter may request additional dual flight instruction or Initial Operating Experience (IOE) beyond what is typically offered in the standard training program. In some cases, a pilot may require extra time to meet the minimum standard. We can accommodate this additional training and any other you may require.

Ground Audit and Professional Program:

We welcome additional pilots to join the ground sessions (including accompanying flights when suitable). To audit a training program, complete the application form and schedule in advance. Professional Pilots may be eligible for an abbreviated program. Eligibility criteria include a minimum of 3000 hours PIC in high-performance fixed-wing aircraft, 300 logged fixed-wing hours in the past 12 months, or completion of a formal training program meeting ATP standards within the past 6-8 months. This program doesn't focus on imparting new skills but operates on a pass/fail basis for issuing Flight Review and Instrument Proficiency Check endorsements and a completion certification.

Additional costs for other services are quoted individually for each requirement, and payments, retainers, and invoices must be in US Dollars. Please note that deposits are non-refundable.

Expenses:

Expenses constitute direct and indirect costs incurred on your behalf to deliver top-notch training and services at your chosen location, anywhere in the world. This includes standard direct costs for travel such as commercial airfare, train, bus, taxi, car service, rental car, accommodation, meals, tips, and parking. It also covers my travel time and any charges I settle on your behalf for you or your aircraft like conference room charges, fuel, oil, fuel/oil test kits, ramp fees, maintenance charges, line service tips, bank processing fees, or currency conversion fees. Upon retaining me for training and/or service, you are pre-authorizing me to make these commitments and settle these charges on your behalf.

Wait Time, Postponements and Cancellations:

If training is halted due to mechanical issues, weather, or your schedule, I'm usually available to wait. The standby fee ensures this flexibility. In the event of a postponement or cancellation (for any reason), your invoice may include a $500 charge for each reserved day lost plus any non-recoverable expenses. This critical charge allows me to reserve dates for you.

Travel Planning:

I plan my travel based on your confirmed dates and locations. When arranging my travel, I strive to minimize costs while ensuring a reliable, flexible travel itinerary. This strategy enables me to provide exceptional training and service at the lowest possible cost while maintaining a flexible travel schedule. I'm open to your suggestions, but generally can't accept offers for travel planning services, award certificates, discount airline tickets, shared hotel rooms, car rides, etc., as this could adversely affect my capacity to serve you or other clients. Your understanding is appreciated.

Payment:

We accept payments in USD only, which can be done via wire transfer (Electronic Funds Transfer - EFT). Contact me for the wiring instructions.
